Retro fit fire rated vision panels (window):
When fire doors were first installed on offshore
installations it was not a necessity to have vision panels
incorporated within the doors. With this introduction of glass
it has proven to be a very successful safety feature reducing
potential incidents and injuries by providing visibility through
the door/enclosure before entering any area or module. Bomar can
provide fire rated vision panels (from A - H Class) for most
types of fire doors these come fully certified and are installed
quickly by Bomar Service Engineers with minimum disruption to
the installation. Fire rated vision panels can also be used to
create inspection panels; thus reducing the need to enter
enclosures to inspect gauges or equipment.
